Automatic backups can be customized to run automatically at any time you wish. You also have the option of running any backup job manually from the My Secure Backup Monitor.
- Automatically backup my files every: This option allows you to choose the frequency in which your backup will run. You have the option to run the backup manually, or at intervals of every 5 minutes, every 15 minutes, hourly, every 6 hours, daily, or weekly.
Selecting the Day or Week options will allow you to select the specific time of day for your backups to run.

- Stop the backup if it runs longer than: To prevent backups from running for extended periods of time, when enabled, this option allows you to set a maximum run time for your backups.
- When a scheduled backup time is missed: If you backup time should happened to be missed (i.e. computer is off, internet connection is lost), you backup can either wait until the next scheduled interval is reached. It can also be configured to run as soon as possible once the condition that prevented it from occurring is no longer present.
- Wake my computer from sleep for scheduled backups: If your computer is in a sleep mode, this option will allow the software to wake the computer from sleep mode in order to conduct the scheduled backup.
