The application settings section of the My Secure Backup apply to the entire application, across all buckets and backup jobs.

  • Show Application In: (Mac only) Indicates where the application will be viewed/accessible.
     
  • Configuration Path: Displays the path where the My Secure Backup configuration file is stored.
     
  • Keep Activity Log: Sets the length of time the activity log is kept (Disabled, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year, forever).
     
  • Cache Directory: Selects the path where recently accessed files can be stored for faster file access.
     
  • Check for Updates Automatically: When check, the software will check for software updates.
